Marzio Picchetti was born in Switzerland in 1991, his interest for the artistic world has its root in his childhood: he was inspired by the sculpture world of his father, being a woodworker and by the theatre world of his mother, being a puppeteer.
He attended the Origlio Steiner School where he developed a great interest for the theatre scene in all its components. In 2004 he became the technician (until 2010) of the school theatre.
Meanwhile he was also responsible for a small team for which he cured the lighting and other logistic aspects (he collaborated often with the direction and the scenography), of about 50 theatre productions.
Soon he became known in the surrounding theatre scenes of Switzerland and northern Italy and had various collaborations in different sectors, from concerts to theatre up to experimental dance.
In 2011 he started working as Technical Director for some companies. He had many collaborations during the following years, here some of the most important:

During the same years he started to collaborate in the realisation of several shows by the Compagnia Finzi Pasca, such as: Donka, una lettera a Cechov , La Verita, Brutta Canglia, Concert of Maria Bonzanigo and as technician for Icaro (2012 and 2013).

The studies in London:
In 2010 he got accepted, by means of his portfolio, at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama University of London, in the BA (Hons) course of Theatre Practice Lighting Designer Strand, attending the 2011-2014 triennium.
He Light Designed during his studies the following productions of the University such as: Othello in 2012, and As You Like It in 2013.

-MA2 basic and advanced Master, with which he programmes with Ultralight MA2 desk.
-Car and small truck drivers license.

In 2011 he founded, together with Ilaria Picchetti, Nino Michel, Nicolò e Jacopo Baggio the Unknown Company, with which he produced & created Ombre in 2012 and Lighting Shadow in 2013.
Nicolò Baggio was born in Italy in 1992. He attended the Origlio Steiner School and in 2008 he became technician of the school theatre, assisting Marzio Picchetti.
Together they edited tens of shows, from the planning to the realisation, getting various experiences on their course.
In 2011 he got accepted at the Liceo Artistico di Varese, where he got his high school degree in 2012 and where he collaborated with Andrea Minidio for the projects Sceent of Glee and Mes chers Demons.
In the same year, together with Marzio Picchetti, Jacopo Baggio, Nino Michel and Ilaria Picchetti he founded the Unknown Company, with the idea of bringing forward an experimental research between theatre, architecture, dance and music.
From 2012 he attends the SAE Institute in Milan, in the BA course of Digital Film Making, during the 2012-2014 biennium.
During the last two years, he gains a lot of experiences in this field, working as cinematographer, independent film maker and video designer for different project.
